Clarifying Purposes (MCN)

Our Purpose as a Missional Church Network is:

to inspire and support members of our Evangelical church community
as we seek to engage effectively as salt and light in the larger secular world, through:

• • Careful reflection and analysis of trends/issues of concern
  • Consultative relationships with individuals, ministries, and think tanks
  • Refinement of our self-awareness of who we are, and ought to be, as Kingdom People.

We seek to Strengthen Christian Social Engagement

1. Foster connections among Christians for thoughtful reflection and analysis of issues affecting the Christian witness in society.
2. Strengthen Christian understanding and communication through the sharing of high-quality resources.
3. Support non-partisan initiatives that promote community flourishing in ways consistent with a Christian worldview.
4. Facilitate informed consultation and guidance for individuals, groups, and ministries engaging in public issues.
5. Deepen understanding of social concerns and relevant biblical teaching to encourage a more robust missional church.
